Party line voting

Definition

Supporting a party by voting for candidates from one political party for all public offices at the same level of government. Party-line voting describes consistently voting for candidates of the same political party at all levels of government. Straight-ticket voting, also known as straight-party voting, enables a voter to select one political party's complete slate of candidates for every office.
