The Winston-Salem Street School (WSSS) is a private alternative high school serving at-risk youth in the greater Winston-Salem, NC area. Founded in 2004 by David Morgan, WSSS offers a 10:1 student-teacher ratio, holistic education, and a real shot at a North Carolina diploma for students who struggled in traditional settings.


Nearly 400 graduates in 21 years. $1,036,982 annual budget — entirely from donations. 0% state/federal funding. All community. All heart.
