March Madness Presidential Brackets
Have your students fill in who they think will win each match-up, (for instance, George Washington beats John Adams) with a bullet point to explain why (GW established the precedence of presidential term limits). Once they get to the final four, the bullet point becomes three bullet points. Then I share my brackets, based on the Arthur Schlesinger surveys, and the students whose brackets are the closest to mine, wins extra credit on the next test.
