This year we will follow a BIG question to connect our learning to real world issues.

Is our government capable of solving today’s problems?

 

What is it?

THREADS is a learning space for students to follow big questions to:

1-Build Deeply Integrated Knowledge

2-Create Authentic Connections to Current Issues

3-Practice Active Listening and Powerful Communication

 

How does it work?

Students identify the biggest problems facing our country.

Then investigate the big question: Can our government solve those problems?

They build course skills and knowledge tin pursuit of the big question.

Teams report on the five big problems.

Students discuss the big question in CONVO pods.*

Students use their course knowledge to answer the big question and foster solutions to the big problems.
