Tariff

Definition

A tax levied on imports to help protect a nation's industries, labor, or farmers from foreign competition. It can also be used to raise additional revenue. Here is a list of 25 American products that rely on a huge tariff to survive. Tariffs are taxes imposed on imported goods by governments. They are designed to protect domestic industries by making imported goods more expensive. President Trump has said he will slap a 25% tariff on all imported goods from Mexico and Canada.

AI Gangsta Rap about Tariffs

Tariff Wars

(Verse 1)
Yo, check it, it's the tariff game, ain't nothin' the same
When the prez hits the scene, with duties unseen
Imported goods, prices sky high, consumers cry
Domestic industries thrive, but the cost, we pay the price

(Chorus)
Tariff wars, it's a global brawl
Nations clash, economies fall
Protectionism's the name, but it's all the same
Just another game, for the rich to gain

(Verse 2)
Politicians talk, 'bout protectin' our land
But it's all a facade, understand?
Hidden agendas, corporate ties, the truth behind the lies
We the people, caught in the crossfire, while they play with fire

(Chorus)
Tariff wars, it's a global brawl
Nations clash, economies fall
Protectionism's the name, but it's all the same
Just another game, for the rich to gain

(Bridge)
We gotta wake up, see through the haze
It's time to unite, and change our ways
Fight for fairness, fight for the truth, for the future of our youth

(Chorus)
Tariff wars, it's a global brawl
Nations clash, economies fall
Protectionism's the name, but it's all the same
Just another game, for the rich to gain

(Outro)
No more tariffs, no more deceit
We demand justice, on the streets
It's time for change, it's time to rise
Let's break the chains, and open our eyes
