*The incoming 119th Congress will assume office on January 3, 2025. The Senate in the 119th Congress is slated to be composed of 52 Republicans, and 47 Democrats (2 Independents will caucus with the Democrats). There is one Senate race that has not been called which gives the Republican party the Senate majority.
The 119th Congress House has a number of races yet uncalled. It is currently scheduled to be composed of 218 Republicans and 209 Democrats, which will give the Republican party the House majority.
