Liberalism is an ideology that government can and should achieve justice and equality of opportunity. the belief in the value of social and political change in order to achieve progress. Liberals tend to favor more government regulation of business and support for social welfare but less regulation of private social conduct. Liberalism” means a tendency to embrace change and reject inequality.
